You might notice that a lot of these started out as university assignments, that because during semester there is not a lot of time to write your own work. That doesn’t mean something that’s been graded can’t go on to be published elsewhere.
This is a SF short story that I am thinking of turning into a series of shorts, or a longer novel.
Poem: ‘Obscurity’ (Page 77-78).
This poem was written for as class assignment at uni and then submitted to the Paper Crown Magazine.
Short story: ‘Doors Closing’ (Page 68- 78)
This short story was written for as class assignment at uni and then submitted to the Paper Crown Magazine.
This short story was part of an assessment at university looking at Fantasy, so Mermaid fans read on.
I wrote this story before I started my creative writing degree, the writing itself isn’t the best but I love the story here. A lot of my ideas come from asking the question ‘what if?’, this one came to me while at eating dinner at the beach with my brother.
This short story is another of my university assessments. It’s not YA but I spent a lot of time working on the prose for this piece. Short fiction is not my favourite type of narrative but I am pretty proud of this one.
